Sisters in Spirit Exhibition

An exhibition of works by 11 artists who best represent what it means to be a black woman in Britain today. Whether choosing paint, collage, mosaic or textiles a fresh crop of Black British artists like Carol Ann Edwards (Cezanne) and photographer Mary Osinibi (Mary O) are making waves in a field where, for so long, Black women were unrepresented.

Time Waits for No-one

Mary O Gallery’s sophomore solo exhibition entitled ‘Time Waits for No-one.’ It will take place aboard the Arc Gallery boat in Tottenham, North London. ‘Time Waits for No-one’ collection is inspired by the notion of transience in a rapidly changing world and aims to visually capture the process of change juxtaposed against presumed constants.

MOVED SOLO EXHIBITION

First solo exhibition by Mary Osinibi, entitled ‘MOVED: Dreams ~Commitment ~Reality.’ held at the prestigious 118 Gallery in Notting Hill. This work tackled current affairs and social issues.

D&AD Student Awards 2005
Work published in the D&AD Student Annual 2005. The brief was to produce a series of stunning images to capture the imagination of young creative photographers.
